                 The Andy Griffith Show is one of the most loved comedies in television history. The show has Andy Griffith playing the widowed sheriff Andy Taylor with his young son Opie in a the fictional sleepy town of Mayberry. They had Andy's Aunt Bee at home to take great care for them and the bumbling but neurotically hilarious cousin Barney Fife as Deputy. Most of the stories center around the towns odd but lovable characters as they have very little crime in Mayberry. The story lines have left philosophical moral Life Lessons that are used in many Bible Studies and even many class rooms today.   The town has a laid back southern hospitality that has made fans feel welcomed for more the 45 years.
