  Life Lessons from A Mayberry State of Mind are our approach to the Lessons contained in each of the episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. We look for the lessons contained in the episode and then discuss how we can take that lesson and learn to use it in our  daily life to make our world more Mayberry Like.

    Our Life Lessons from A Mayberry State of Mind are hosted by our own Rick "Gomer" Gandy and always lead to a pleasent evening of discussion. We are now into the third season of the show and our lessons seem to becoming more popular.

 

  Our Life Lessons from A Mayberry State of Mind are held each Sunday evening beginning at 9pm est, 8ct, 6 pt. in our chat room. Our chat room is easy to access and very user friendly. The Rivals When Opie's young girlfriend ignores him, the lad finds himself a new one--Thelma Lou. Barney is not amused.
 
June 13
A Wife for Andy Barney does his best to find an eligible young woman for Andy.
 
June 20
Dogs, Dogs, Dogs Andy, Barney and Opie find themselves sharing the courthouse with eleven dogs. To complicate matters, a jailhouse inspector is expected at any moment.
 
June 27
Mountain Wedding Briscoe Darling enlists Andy and Barney's aid in keeping wild mountain man Ernest T. Bass (Howard Morris) at bay.

The Big House Barney and a newly-deputized Gomer Pyle are put in charge of things while Andy participates in a manhunt. George Kennedy appears as a Memphis detective.

Briscoe Declares for Aunt Bee Attracted by her "rose poetry" and fine cooking, Briscoe Darling kidnaps Aunt Bee

Gomer the House Guest Gomer, having lost his job and living quarters in one fell swoop, takes up temporary residence in the Taylor household.

The Haunted House Two of Mayberry's bravest souls--Barney and Gomer--enter an old abandoned (and, purportedly, haunted) house.
 
August 8
Ernest T. Bass Joins the Army When Mayberry's resident wild man is barred from enlisting in the Army, Ernest T. Bass goes on a glass-breaking rampage.
 
August 15 (our 100th Life Lesson)
The Sermon for Today Inspired by the day's church sermon (What's Your Hurry?), several Mayberrians decide to organize a relaxing band concert.
